Daniel Snyder has hired the Bank of America Securities division to sell the Washington Commanders football team, as first reported by Forbes. Snyder, who has been under much public scrutiny over the past few years for issues regarding him as a person and issues regarding his football franchise has finally broken the silence. Snyder who has been badgered by fans, the media, and now other owners to sell the team Snyder has broken his promise of never selling the franchise by taking the first step today.
Although this is just the first of many steps that are needed to be completed in order, for what is most likely to be a billion dollar deal, is a step in the right direction for all who are involved. Bank of America will be the sole broker seeking a deal for Snyder and his wife Tanya released a statement through the team today.
