It is a rough night to be a Dallas Cowboys fan. The reason why is the Cowboys got upset by the Green Bay Packers 48-32 in shocking fashion. The game was not as close as the score indicated.
For Dallas, it could mean having to start from scratch with a different core. Cowboys fans have been promised a Super Bowl caliber team for a year. Unfortunately, Dallas has come up short for nearly three decades. Now, Cowboys fan Skip Bayless has had enough.
Skip Bayless Has Viral Meltdown
Skip Bayless is well-known as a Dallas Cowboys fan. He is from the area and hosts “Undisputed” on FS1. As proud as he has been to be a Cowboys fan in years past, it appears Bayless has had enough. Why is this?
After the loss to the Packers, Bayless posted a video on his X/Twitter account. The video showed Bayless gathering all of his Cowboys gear. He placed it next to the trash can in his kitchen. Then, he began throwing each piece of Cowboys gear in the trash can one at a time.
Eventually, the last item left was a Cowboys hat that Bayless was wearing on his head throughout the video. He did not forget about this. Bayless took it off of his head and aggressively through it in the trash can.
Dallas Cowboys Have Had Decades of Disappointment
Believe it or not, the last time the Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl was the 1995-96 NFL season. Considering this is one of the most historically successful franchises in NFL history, this drought may as well be an eternity. To add insult to injury, the Cowboys have had promising teams the last three seasons.
Why is that? Because Dallas won at least 12 games each of the last three seasons. Yet, they never made it to the conference championship in any of those playoff appearances. Dallas lost in the wild card round twice and in the divisional round last season. The Cowboys have certainly tested their fans’ patience in recent years.

Dallas Cowboys Moving Forward
What can the Dallas Cowboys do now? Cowboys owner Jerry Jones must take a long, hard look at this team. There may be a discussion of blowing up the core and starting from scratch. Bayless did send one clear message that several Cowboys fans must agree with. Something has to change.
