Dallas Cowboys Legend Has Strong Warning For Team Ahead of Game Vs. Giants

One of the Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame legends has sent a strong warning to his former team about their Thursday night matchup with the New York Giants. Dallas has an incredibly difficult schedule this season and if they do not get this win against the Giants this week it will be time to hit the panic button.

Former Cowboy and legendary defensive end DeMarcus Ware knows that his former’s teams season hangs in the balance this week against their arch-rival New York. He issued a strong warning to the team to bring their best game or else their season could already be over.

Dallas has been one of the worst rushing defenses in the league so far and in their back-to-back losses the last two weeks they have looked terrible outside of one quarter. Ahead of the game, Ware said that this game is essential for his former team if they want to turn around their season:

“They need to win this game. This is a huge game,” Ware said on Up & Adams. “Because if the Giants get on a roll… and them Dallas Cowboys go into an 0-2 deficit [against NFC teams], it’s almost like their season is over.”

When Adams asked if Ware is seeing an upset happen, he just revealed that he’s pissed at his former team for how they have played so far:

“They need to win this game,” Ware declared. “I’m just being frank. I’m not saying it’s going to be an upset, but I will be upset if they lose this game.”

The Cowboys have been dominant over the Giants the last two seasons, but this year they look like a much weaker team. When looking at the rest of their schedule, they really need this win as they have many tough games ahead of them with no breaks:

After this game, they will have a gauntlet of solid teams to of through, and based on their play so far, they will lose a bunch of those games. This is a must-win for Dallas.
