The Los Angeles Rams signed a 24-year-old defensive tackle on Thursday ahead of their Week 7 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Rams have two defensive tackles listed on the injury report this week.
Larrell Murchison (knee) did not practice for the Rams on Wednesday. Kobie Turner (shoulder) was a limited participant for the Rams on Wednesday. The Rams needed to make a move to add depth to their defensive line this week.

According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Rams signed Cory Durden to the 53-man roster. They also signed cornerback Shaun Jolly to the practice squad.

Durden recorded 126 total tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks during his college career at Florida State and North Carolina State.
The Detroit Lions initially signed Durden as a UDFA following the 2023 NFL Draft. He was waived following training camp. Durden signed with the Rams practice squad in September.
