The Colorado football program landed a mega prospect on Thursday, or at least they have for now. Five-star prospect Jordan Seaton verbally committed to head coach Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes on Fox Sports’ Undisputed, but recent reports suggest his recruitment is still very much open. Per Max Torres of the DucksDigest, the offensive tackle could still take an official visit to Oregon despite his verbal commitment to Colorado.
Despite a commitment to Colorado this morning, I'm hearing that an official visit to #Oregon isn't off the table for Jordan Seaton.

Seaton owns an offer from head coach Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks but has yet to visit Eugene officially. Per 247 Sports, Seaton has officially visited Colorado, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, and Tennessee.
Jordan Seaton: Five-Star Commit Verbally Commits to Colorado Football on Thursday
Seaton, a consensus top-five prospect and the top-ranked offensive tackle on most recruiting sites, verbally committed to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes on Fox Sports’ Undisputed on Thursday. Seaton immediately strengthens a Colorado offensive line that repeatedly struggled to protect quarterback Shedeur Sanders last year. The IMG Academy product also used the national stage to recruit others to Boulder for the 2024 season.
“You claim you’re a dog; why you not coming to Colorado? Why you not helping somebody who looks like you?”
Colorado frontman Deion Sanders is arguably the most popular head coach in football, alongside Alabama’s Nick Saban and Georgia’s Kirby Smart. However, despite Seaton’s commitment and rally call, he could still visit other schools.
The Difference Between a Verbal and Signed Commitment
Per the NCSA, the NCAA does not acknowledge verbal commitments like the one Jordan Seaton gave to Colorado on Thursday. Official signing day for the class of 2024 comes next February, meaning Seaton’s verbal commitment remains a non-binding contract. Seaton can change his verbal commitment anytime, including transitioning to play for the Oregon Ducks next fall.
