Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl on Thursday night. Sanders could very well be drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.
This past season, he recorded 67 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, zero interceptions, and two pass deflections. Sanders is 6’0″ and weighs 195 lbs. His brother, Shedeur Sanders, however, could very well be drafted in the Top 5 of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Colorado Buffaloes Saftey Shilo Sanders Makes Bold Statement After the East-West Shrine Bowl
After the East-West Shrine Bowl on Thursday, the Buffaloes safety spoke with reporter Joe Bonham. Sanders was talking about his haters anytime he did something bad and then compared himself to the current President, Donald Trump. Shilo Sanders said:
“They do that to our President, they do that to everybody… But it does get aggravating whenever you’re putting in work and you’re working on your craft and people are just steadily destroying you. I just care about what the scouts think, I care about what Coach Prime thinks and my family thinks. And I’ve got a good circle around me, so I really don’t let that stuff affect me.”
Interestingly, he decided to make that comment. Shilo Sanders could very well not be drafted within the first two rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft. Sanders has a chance to prove himself leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft.

There is no doubt that Shilo Sanders will continue to get hate in the comments section after he decided to say that about comparing himself to Trump. It will be interesting to see what other things Sanders will have to say moving forward. There seems to be a lot of hate for the former Colorado Buffaloes’ safety because of his Dad, Deion Sanders.
