The New York Giants will have the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. It will be interesting to see what the Giants do with that selection.

New York finished the 2024 season with a 3-14 record and so did the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans. Cleveland will pick second and Tennessee will pick first. The New York Giants could very well draft a quarterback this year.
Pro Football Focus Believes the New York Giants Should Draft Shedeur Sanders In the 2025 NFL Draft

Pro Football Focus writer Gordon McGuinness wrote about what player each NFL team should draft on day one or day two in the 2025 NFL Draft. He thinks that the New York Giants should draft quarterback Shedeur Sanders from the Colorado Buffaloes in the 2025 NFL Draft. McGuinness said:
“It’s no secret that the Giants need to find a franchise quarterback, and they will likely draft either Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders if they are available when they come on the clock with the third overall selection. Sanders had a turnover-worthy play rate of just 1.2% in his final season at college.”
Sanders this past season for Colorado completed 74.0% of his passes for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. It would be good news for the New York Giants if he was still available with the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Chance That Sanders Gets Drafted Before Giants’ Selection

There is a chance that Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders both get drafted first and second overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns both need to find new franchise quarterbacks like the New York Giants do.
Cleveland could very well trade for Kirk Cousins from the Atlanta Falcons this offseason instead of drafting someone. If Sanders is off the board third overall and also Ward, the New York Giants will have some interesting decisions to make.
