    Even though he has been retired from the NFL for a long time, Deion Sanders has always made his thoughts known about different topics in life. Just recently, though, the Colorado Buffaloes head coach got real and explained what his faith in God means to him.

    Sanders known for his dual career as an elite football player and a successful coach. He played in the NFL for 14 seasons, representing teams such as the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens. Renowned for his skills as a cornerback and return specialist, he was selected fifth overall in the 1989 NFL Draft. He won two Super Bowl championships and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1994.

    After retiring from professional football, Sanders transitioned into coaching. He began his coaching career at the high school level, leading teams in Texas, including Prime Prep Academy and Trinity Christian School. His coaching prowess came to prominence during his tenure at Jackson State University, where he guided the Tigers to significant success, including back-to-back SWAC championships.

    In late 2022, Sanders took on the role of head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, where he aimed to revitalize the program and enhance its competitiveness in the Pac-12 Conference. His coaching style emphasizes discipline, hard work, and a winning mentality, reflecting the same attributes that defined his playing career.

    Just recently, Sanders appeared in an episode of Robert Griffin III’s podcast and discussed hie views on God and his faith in him. This can be seen in a video shared by the former ESPN analyst on his official X account.
