The Colorado Buffaloes have avoided losing star two-way player Travis Hunter to injury as Hunter will be available to play this weekend.
Hunter, a star wide receiver and defensive back for the Buffaloes, was injury and left the game against the Kansas State Wildcats. The Wildcats would go on to win the game, 31-28, as they slowly manhandled the Buffaloes defense. Hunter left the game with three receptions for 26-yards, as well as one tackle on defense.
Some fans argue the Buffaloes could have won if Hunter played the entirety, however it will forever remain an unknown.

The worst news that many Colorado Buffaloes players and staff expected was that Hunter would miss the rest of the season with his injury. However, Hunter and the Buffaloes have announced that the star skill player will return against the Arizona Wildcats. It is unclear if any limits will be placed upon Hunter for the upcoming game against the Wildcats.
Previously, Hunter has not been restricted when returning from his injuries, such as the concussion he suffered a season ago. Likely the star player will return right back to his massive snap count for the Buffaloes in the clash against Arizona.
Arizona is rested and healthy, which could be a potentially scary sight for the Colorado Buffaloes to see this weekend. Quarterback and wide receiver duo Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan have the ability to truly thrash defenses when they are on point. The defense and Hunter in particular could be tested after returning from his injury.
Colorado Buffaloes Star Wide Receiver, Defensive Back Travis Hunter Will Return Versus Arizona
With Hunter returning, the Colorado Buffaloes should be able to handily beat Arizona this weekend in a big game for both teams.
The Wildcats have played below expectations this season, in particular on offense as the team has failed to truly open up. Arizona could consider attacking Hunter during the upcoming game to see how severe his shoulder injury was. The Wildcats could also considering attacking Hunter on offense to see if the snap count load has affected the star.
#Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter Snap Count:
• NDSU: 124 (56 Off. / 68 Def.)
• Nebraska: 118 (60 Off. / 58 Def.)
• Colorado St: 116 (53 Off. / 63 Def.)
• Baylor: 137 (75 Off. / 62 Def.)
• UCF: 125 (56 Off. / 69 Def.)
• Avg: 124 snaps per game
Rare Player.

Hunter has wildly played nearly every snap he has been eligible to play for the Buffaloes this season. Hunter has avoided major injury thus far, but many critics believe that playing Hunter as much as he plays is “dangerous” as he could face an injury much easier. With a shoulder injury he appears to still be nursing, along with the rising snap count, attacking Hunter could be a move the Wildcats shift towards.
