Per multiple reports, Colorado Buffaloes college football players are claiming they lost more than their dignity during their 28-16 loss to the UCLA Bruins on Saturday night.
Per TMZ, the Pasadena Police Department is investigating an alleged heist that took place in the Colorado locker room during the Buffaloes game against the Bruins:
“several Buffaloes players claim they had jewelry stolen from their lockers during their matchup against UCLA on Saturday.
Deion Sanders‘ son, Deion Jr., shared the allegations in a postgame video posted on Sunday night … showing multiple athletes in shock outside the Rose Bowl after discovering their valuables were taken.”
It’s unclear how much money in total the players are claiming they lost from the alleged heist.
College Football: Colorado Buffaloes players are waiting for their jewelry
According to OutKick, Colorado has yet to release an official statement on the situation. But Buffaloes players were agitated by the alleged theft:
“In the video, you can hear one person who was not identified mentioning that someone would be in-touch with the Colorado players concerning the jewelry theft. As of this writing, there was no official word from Colorado regarding the matter.
“I just got mine. I had a jewelry box and everything, they took it out my jewelry box,” one player said outside the stadium, while visibly frustrated.”
The 4-4 Buffaloes should feel secure, at least leaving their valuables in their locker room for their next two contests, which will be at home. However, Colorado will host the 16th-ranked Oregon State Beavers on Nov. 4th. A win by the Beavers on Saturday could steal a good bowl birth from Colorado after a promising start to the season.
