One Cleveland Browns player is in some big trouble, but not really. After he leaked, they would be playing in Brazil in Week One. Defensive Tackle Maurice Hurst was on the Cleveland Browns Daily on Monday and leaked that the Browns will be playing in Brazil to open their season.
Cleveland Browns Maurice Hurst Walks Back Take
The Philadelphia Eagles were announced as the home team in this game a few months ago, and now it looks like we might’ve gotten their opponent.
It looks like Hurst was not supposed to leak the game, and he went to X on Monday night to post a funny GIF of a guy sitting in his car, leaning back, and trying to hide.

Hurst also commented, “I’m not a trusted source; I just read an article from everyone else and mistaken it for a fact.”

Hurst Has To Know Something
Hurst is retracting his comments about the team playing in Brazil. Maybe the NFL told him to do so, but it felt like he knew something when he brought it up on the radio show.
If the Browns were to go to Brazil, it would be the first time they would play in an international game since 2017, when they took on the Minnesota Vikings.
The Browns have a tremendous season coming up in 2024, and it makes sense that they would be a Week One team in Brazil after their incredible run in 2023, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
