The Cleveland Browns are bringing back veteran offensive guard Michael Dunn, on a one-year contract worth $1.4 million, fully guaranteed, according to Dunn’s agent, David Canter.
After spending the beginning of his career as a bit of a veteran journeyman, Dunn has found a home with the Browns since his arrival ahead of the 2020 season.
Dunn has appeared in 40 games, including making a pair of starts for the Cleveland Browns during the 2023 campaign. According to Pro Football Focus, Dunn allowed just one sack in 133 pass-protection snaps last season while garnering a 60.2 overall grade from the outlet.

How Michael Dunn Boosts Cleveland Browns
Offensive line depth is vitally important to championship-caliber football teams, which the Cleveland Browns hope to be building toward becoming.
After brief stints with the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars, and a season in the AAF, the Cleveland Browns clearly value Dunn’s contributions in the trenches.
Last season, Dunn appeared in 12 total games for the Browns, showing that he is capable of stepping in at a moment’s notice and contributing quality snaps if needed.
The Browns see and seem to understand the importance of continuity and have now managed this offseason to keep one of the league’s premier interior offensive line groups intact by keeping Joel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller, and Michael Dunn all on the roster ahead of the 2024 season.
Cleveland looks to advance beyond the AFC Wild Card game, where the Browns’ season ended in 2023 with a loss to the Houston Texans.
