The Cleveland Browns fans are not taking the news well of Myles Garrett requesting a trade from the team on Monday. He has two years remaining on his contract and is 29 years old.
They finished the 2024 season with a 3-14 record after making the playoffs the previous season with an 11-6 record. The Cleveland Browns have a lot of decisions to make this offseason. Cleveland had high expectations entering this season.
Cleveland Browns Fans Scheduling Protest For This Evening
The Browns fanbase is not wasting any time taking action regarding the Garrett trade news. According to Grant Puskar, he said on Twitter:
“#Browns fans currently organizing a protest outside of the stadium downtown. Scheduled for 5PM this evening.”
It will be interesting to see how big of a turnout it will be. There is no question that the Cleveland Browns fanbase has had enough of Andrew Berry as general manager. The fans will probably call for him to be fired and for the owners to sell the team. It will be interesting to see. This is the second straight day that there is a sports protest after the Dallas Mavericks fanbase protested the team for trading away Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Fans React
Are they protesting to fire Andrew Berry????

What’s the hope?
Fire AB?(weren’t the fans calling him a genius last offseason for getting a pick for York?)
Haslam to sell the team?(can they stop by progressive as well and see what they can do about the dolans?)
Make Garrett change his mind?😂

If the fans want to rebel. The fans need to cancel season tickets and not go to the games- tailgate at muni and watch at sports bar- lose money will get their attention

It is going to be interesting to see what the Cleveland Browns fanbase does at this protest. It will probably be out of frustration because of the Myles Garrett trade request situation. None of this will probably help and the Browns will just trade Garrett and then select his replacement Abdul Carter second overall anyway.
