The Kansas City Chiefs are on the road against the Cleveland Browns this week in a contest between two teams going in opposite directions. Kansas City is trying to win their third Super Bowl in a row, meanwhile Cleveland is trying to figure out what to do with Deshaun Watson‘s contract.
However, today quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the one making troubling headlines.
“Oh My God No” The Unthinkable Happens With Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes Vs Browns
In the fourth quarter of Sunday afternoon’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns, Patrick Mahomes stayed in the game with a 21-7 lead.
It’s possible the Chiefs now regret that decision after their franchise quarterback went down and had both legs pinned under some offensive linemen.
It took some time for Mahomes to be helped off the field by his teammates, as he was limping heavily. A heavy wrap was applied to Mahomes’ left ankle once he was on the sidelines.

According to Athlon Sports:
Mahomes would be replaced by backup QB Carson Wentz on the next drive.
The video makes it appear that both legs got bent under the pile, but it is unclear how extensive the injury was, or what Mahomes’ status will be going forward. But with the Chiefs playoff dreams ahead with the potential for a third-straight Super Bowl, Mahomes’ health will be the talk of the football world over the next few hours, and days.
It was another solid outing for the MVP quarterback, who completed 19-for-38 passes for 159 yards and 2 TDs before his injury. The Chiefs have already clinched their place in the playoffs, so the result of this game vs. the Browns is not of great importance, but with a 21-7 lead late in the game, it appears that Kansas City will go on to claim the victory.
