The Chicago Bears season has been flipped upside down the past few weeks. After their 19-3 loss against the New England Patriots Sunday afternoon, they parted ways with offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

Chicago’s offense has taken a few steps back from where they were to start the season, and that can’t happen when you have a rookie quarterback under center.
Chicago Bears And Caleb Williams Are Facing Major Issues
The most important thing for the Bears this year was for Caleb Williams to get better each week, but the exact opposite happened.
One of the world’s most legendary talk show hosts has also noticed how bad Williams has gotten over the last month. Colin Cowherd from Fox Sports 1 stated, ” Williams is getting worse by the week.”

The Bears will face many difficult issues this offseason, and the first one will be what they do with their head coach, Matt Eberflus.
The 54-year-old head coach was on the hot seat last year for most of the season but found his way off it in the last month. Now, there is a great chance he will not be back in 2025.

Chicago needs to hire an offensive-minded head coach who can relate to Williams, and the big name for the job will be Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.
