The Chicago Bears continue the courting process. Reports from Waddle and Silvy of ESPN Chicago Sports Radio have USC quarterback Caleb Williams at dinner with the Chicago Bears front office and current players.

Chicago Sports Radio personalities Tom Waddle and Marc Silverman have reported that Williams is currently in Chicago. Silvy, the leading voice on this report, stated that the Bears front office and some current players went to dinner. Williams and the current players were at one table while the front office was at the other.

Caleb Willams met with the Bears in Chicago last night, and he even dined with current Bears players, according to @WaddleandSilvy on @ESPN1000.

    The Infamous Chicago Bears Dinner

Silvy did not refer to where they ate or the team members Caleb sat with, and he did not include the sources of this information. Silvy may have fallen into a web of lies, but he has many contacts around the city to be a reliable source.

Media, fans, and all sports entertainment entities are 99% certain that Williams will head to the Bears with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. This supposed dinner only helps to confirm that notion.

    Full video of reports:

Per @WaddleandSilvy QB Caleb Williams is currently in Chicago with the #Bears front office, and has even been meeting current players including dinner last night. The “install” of the future QB continues.

    Update on Caleb Williams’s Visit

Further reports indicate that Caleb was in town last night because of his top-30 visit to Chicago today.

Potential No. 1 overall pick #USC QB Caleb Williams made his Top 30 facility visit to the #Bears today, sources say. He was in town for dinner last night, as well.

The Bears brass took Caleb Williams out to dinner last night to the restaurant Sophia Steak in Lake Forest.

Caleb Williams had dinner with Bears brass, some vets last night at Eddie Merlot's in Lincolnshire. Williams left this evening. Next up? Washington WR Rome Odunze got to Chicago tonight. His 30 visit with the Bears is tomorrow, per sources.

Although there are conflicting reports on where the dinner was, it has been confirmed multiple times that it did happen.

No confirmation on which players attended yet, but much speculation on D.J. Moore, Cole Kmet, Keenan Allen, and a few other key offensive players have been thrown around.
