Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles Optimistic On Jaylon Johnson Re-Signing
Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles stepped in front of the media early Tuesday to speak about the current status of the Bears heading into the combine.
Poles stated right away that he has “no master plan” to present regarding the quarterback position, but he did elude to the hopes of another player who is currently on the roster.

Ryan Poles quickly stated that the conversation with cornerback Jaylon Johnson was going well. He expects Jaylon to be here.
Poles also said he’d like to avoid using the franchise tag on Jaylon if possible.
Poles stated that he hopes a deal will be done before the March 5th deadline. In terms of what the team offers, he feels he is in a good place.
