The Carolina Panthers sign a wide receiver
The Carolina Panthers have been quietly putting together a solid free agency and added to that Sunday with an All-Pro wide receiver. The Panthers lost their top wide receiver this offseason when they traded D.J. Moore to the Chicago Bears for the first overall pick in April. The Panthers are expected to draft a quarterback with their first selection. They’ll have a veteran wide receiver to throw to in 2023.
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, the Panthers are getting ready to ink former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen to a three-year deal.

The 32-year-old Thielen has been with the Minnesota Vikings since the 2013 season when he was signed as an undrafted free agent. He earned All-Pro honors in 2017 and has two Pro Bowl nominations. Thielen was active in the NFC North-winning Vikings offense last season when he caught 70 balls for 716 yards and six touchdowns.
