Buffalo Bills fans took to social media to vent about their overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Bills lost a crucial game against the Eagles, dropping Buffalo to 6-6 ahead of Week 13. The Bills are on the cusp of missing the playoffs as the NFL schedule heads towards December.
The Bills led for much of the game against the Eagles. However, the Bills’ sloppy play and penalties allowed the Eagles to come back to tie the game and eventually win in overtime.
The penalty stat line was a major obstacle in the Bills’ chances of beating the Eagles. The Bills had more than twice the penalties the Eagles were called for. The Bills were flagged 11 times for 80 yards. The Eagles were penalized four times for 30 yards.

Many Bills fans think the disparity in the penalty calls was because the NFL was rigging the game in the Eagles’ favor. (It couldn’t be that the Eagles are a better team, and the pressure to keep with a more talented roster forced Bills players to commit penalties…)

10 penalties on the Bills. 1 penalty for 5 yards on the Eagles. I can count at least 4 or 5 15+ yard penalties that should have been called on the Eagles. This one is more rigged than the Texans game
