REPORT: Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Sends Non-Harrison-Butker-Like Message To Caitlin Clark

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes‘ wife, Brittany Mahomes, sent Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark an uplifting message this weekend. Brittany’s message is the opposite of Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s vision for the world.

Kansas City Chiefs K Harrison Butker had a message for women

As previously discussed on GH, the kicker, whose frame is too dainty to make kickoff tackles, took a shot at female graduates of Benedictine College during his commencement speech:

“For the ladies present today, congratulations on an amazing accomplishment. You should be proud of all that you have achieved to this point in your young lives. I want to speak directly to you briefly because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you.

“How many of you are sitting here now about to cross this stage and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.

“I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother. I’m on the stage today and able to be the man I am because I have a wife who leans into her vocation.

“I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all of my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all: homemaker.”

    Brittany Mahomes encouraged Caitlin Clark

Following the regressive speech, Patrick defended Butker as a good person but said he didn’t agree with all of his comments. One would think Patrick’s wife didn’t agree with some of the comments either.

Per John Simmons with OutKick, Brittany was one of several celebrities who supported Clark after she was shoved during the Fever’s Saturday game against the Chicago Sky. (Clark has suffered numerous cheap shots this season.) Brittany encouraged Clark for helping to advance women’s sports:

“@caitlinclark22 keep doing your thing!! You’re a baller and it’s incredible to see what you’re doing for the game and women’s sports!!” Mahomes wrote.

It’s great to see Brittany stand up for Clark, a female athlete who is thinking about the promotions and titles she can win in her career.

Come on man, sorry I wasted my time reading this. You could have really wrote a compelling piece about one influential woman uplifting another because of the questionable actions of another woman from the town you actually cover. But instead you chose to gaslight a small campfire to get clicks. Mahomes reached out to Clark for something another woman, who represents a team that appears is in your town you cover, but you chose to bring Butker into the story, which isn’t even the story. But we all have our opinions. Probably would have been hard for you to write something questioning the actions of a player, or call out a sports figure by name in your town which was the reason for Mahomes reaching out Clark in the first place. But anyway, best of luck.

Sick of journalists stirring up division. Gaslighting everyone, then saying this is how it should be done. Nah, grow up. Get a new pic Jordan, you look like a turd with false confidence.

You’re an idiot. Please take time to read Harrison’s speech and understand that was nothing degrading to women.

He didn’t degrade persay but basically told them their lives won’t start until they’re married with kids at home raising them. Everyone has the right to their opinion. I feel that wasn’t the place for any of his political or sexism thoughts. I have read many women that were there that was excited to hear him. Felt horrible after. He stole their day fun them to put yo his views that wasn’t cool at all.

He was just pointing out how kids should be put first. How the majority of couples need to have one parent home that can give their children their best shot for success. In the Catholic faith women have a divine calling as mothers. Nothing he said was contrary to his faith. It’s sad that kids aren’t their parents number 1 priority.

You’re 100% correct. I really don’t see how these people come to the conclusion that he is telling women “to stay in the kitchen”. They’re putting words in his mouth!

A comment from one woman to another that had nothing to do with a third person who said nothing at all controversial. Basically, you took a shot at a place kicker who you call a wimp because he plays a position that usually doesn’t require him to make tackles, and you hid behind 2 women talking about completely something else to do that. Sounds like someone else is the wimp, and it ain’t the kicker. No wonder journalists tend to be the least intelligent of all college graduates.

Butker didn’t take a shot at any women anywhere. He just tried to encourage those who might want to raise a family too as a career. Did you not listen? Wow! Click bait?

Harrison Butker’s coaches are smart enough to realize his value is to score points to win games. You’re too dimwitted to understand that which isn’t surprising since you are either too dumb to know what he said or lack the character to report honestly.

What does Caitlin Clark getting shoved in a game have to do with Harrison Butker giving a commencement speech at a college?

Loving all these replies!!! My faith in humanity has been restored just reading all these completely intelligent and common sensical comments! Freedom of speech in America is such a gift and we should use it every chance we get. Never take it for granted and do not allow others to take it away from you no matter how much they might dislike what you might say. This article made no direct link to Butker and Clark and was gas lighting in its truest form. Shame on the author. Butker was invited to a Catholic school, to give a speech to Catholic students, So he did! People can not like what he said all day long but he spoke about his beliefs and convictions and not too many people do that nowadays. Kudos to him!!

His comments had nothing to do with Clark, and Brittany’s comments had nothing to do with what he had said previously. You are clearly a liberal yap who is trying to manipulate the situation. Like every other liberal yap in American with a stage.

Wow! You are way out of line in your “interpretation” of what Butker said!! Very few women took what he said in an offensive manner. You also missed a chance to write a nice piece on what his wife said to Catelyn Clark. Fell lucky to have a job with this kind of writing.

Seriously. He spoke the truth. Leave it to the extreme to twist and make a big deal. Take it at your stride. You don’t always have to agree but you don’t have to crucify a person for his beliefs. Did we forget we are all individuals. And I agree with the guy who said you’re a terrible journalist. Try the truth

He spoke out of his a**. Yes it was an insult saying we aren’t truly women until we get married and have kids and live not just for the kids but especially the husband! Thats messed up because not all women want children or can’t have them like myself. To say we aren’t whole until we pretty much bow down to the man is absolutely obsurd. When will the husband stay home and watch the kids and do the chores. They wont be a whole husbsnd/man until that happens. The old cliche that women have to bow down to their man is not tolerated anymore.

Every rookie, especially those drafted in the top ten, are physically challenged to see if they can take it. If the call is questionable, the veteran gets the call. Definitely true in the NBA/WNBA. Happened to Tatum, Curry, Haliburton as well as Bird and Magic. It is never a racist issue. Instant replays tell the truth.

If you physically hurt a player in any way, it is a technical foul. At times, other team will deliberately retaliate. Referees must control/be held accountable.
Agree with Belicheck, any questionable calls needs to be challenged at any time.
One play can make a difference.

Been Celtic fan since 1956. Too many “experts “ out there on social media. Interview players during a time out! Player and referee talking while game is in progress! Miked players during game! Can you believe that Major League Baseball has announcer talking to an outfielder while game in progress! “Excuse me, need to run and catch the ball.” The absolute worst part is when announcing team talks about non-basketball topics while game is on. At times, miss substitution of players etc. Absolute worse is failure to talk about strategy of final minutes for both teams.

Can we just enjoy the game, Best part is with a group of friends/not friends watching a playoff game regardless of location. Home, bar, arena seating of opposing team, over 10,000 in Dallas watching Timberwolves game. Worst part inCable, ESPN, ABC, streaming etc.
