Brian Callahan, head coach of the Tennessee Titans, is definitely quite protective of his team, and not afraid to show it. After the Titans fell against the Cincinnati Bengals in the previous matchup, Callahan was asked about what he felt about Tennessee’s soft label, to which he went on a long now-viral rant.
As of now, the Tennessee Titans are ranked last in the AFC South after winning only three games and losing 11 so far. Against the Bengals, Tennessee lost with a final score of 37-27 after QB Mason Rudolph went for 209 yards, completing 21 passes out of 26 attempts. Rudolph went on to score a pair of touchdowns in that game, with a solo interception. Recently, the Titans publicly announced that their main QB Will Levis is being benched for Rudolph.
“That is complete and total bulls**t if you want my honest opinion. These guys are tough f**kers, man, and they go after it every day. They play hard as hell, and at no point have we put on tape at any point this season that this is a soft football team. I can’t even wrap my mind around how that would even be a conversation. I mean, just because we don’t win games doesn’t mean we’re soft.” Callahan said to reporters on Wednesday.
#Titans HC Brian Callahan went on a full-blown rant after being asked about the idea of his team being soft.

Will Levis being benched might be the best thing for the Tennessee Titans this year. While Levis has accepted his new position, his coach, Brian Callahan, is still hoping for his performance to turn around in the next season. Meanwhile, the team will have to lean on Mason Rudolph to improve their record as of now.
Brian Callahan Shuts Down Reports That Will Levis Might Be Traded Out
Brian Callahan might have taken a tough call in benching their star quarterback, Will Levis, but is not ready to part with him at any cost right now. After the news broke out that Levis is being benched to bring in Mason Rudolph as their main quarterback, Callahan was asked repeatedly about Levis’ future in the team.
However, Callahan never hinted even slightly that Levis might actually be traded out of the team in favor of someone else. Instead, the head coach went on to remark that all he cares about at this point is the team’s next matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The Tennessee Titans need to really pull up their socks right now, if they want to surpass the Jaguars in the AFC South table.
