Ohio State just received a commitment from running back Bo Jackson, and it’s not Bo Jackson that you’re thinking of. It’s not the Bo Jackson who played his college football at Auburn and played major league baseball and professional football in the 1980s and 1990s.
The Buckeyes are adding a much younger Bo Jackson from Cleveland, Ohio. So, he will stay in his home state to play college football.
Bo Jackson To Ohio State
According to Hayes Fawcett from On3.com, “Four-star running back Bo Jackson has committed to Ohio State; Jackson chose the Buckeyes over schools like Georgia and Alabama.

Jackson attendees Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Cleveland is ranked as the third running back in the country in the 2025 class, according to 247sports.com.
Ohio State Is Loaded At Running Back
Jackson is about to add his name to the list of great running backs to play for the Buckeyes. Currently, they have two guys on the roster: TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, who could easily be picked in the first round of next year’s draft.
Jackson won’t have to worry about competing with those two running backs next season because they will both be off to the NFL, but he will have to compete against James Peoples, one of the best running backs in the 2024 class.
Ohio State is also crystal-balled to land both running backs Jordon Davison and Isaiah West in the 2025 class, but with Jackson now coming to the Buckeyes, there is a chance they only land one of the players or maybe not even.
