Over the past few weeks, many NFL and college football fans have been wondering why Bill Belichick is putting up with the controversy that is surrounding him and his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson. The recent second runner-up in the Miss Maine beauty pageant has been a source of consternation among North Carolina fans, as well as those who respect the incredible legacy that Belichick built during his decades in the NFL.
Indeed, Belichick and Hudson have been frequently talked about for about year due to their 49- age gap relationship. However, conversations about the couple have gone from jokes about the age difference to serious talk about the effect she is having on his career.
Jordon Hudson Went Viral After Interfering in a Bill Belichick Interview

Of course, the incident that is fresh in everyone’s minds is the disastrous interview Coach Belichick did with CBS a couple of weeks ago. The sit-down with the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach was meant to promote his book and drive up its sales.
However, when asked about how he first met Hudson, the 24-year-old can be heard off camera saying, “We’re not talking about that.”
Belichick, who was visibly uncomfortable with the interaction, plowed ahead with the rest of the interview, but CBS was certainly not thrilled with Hudson’s behavior. After the airing of their conversation with the legendary head coach, the network revealed that the so-called head of Belichick Media frequently interrupted their proceedings.
And they canceled an already scheduled second interview with him.
Since the controversial interview aired, there have been reports that North Carolina banned Hudson from their football facilities. However, the university itself said in a statement that she was not, in fact, banned. Rather, she was welcome but also not a university employee and would only be working with Belichick with his pursuits outside of the football program.
Bill Belichick Explains the Role Jordon Hudson Plays in His Business Dealings

On Friday morning, Belichick sat down for his first public interview since the CBS disaster. Speaking with Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan on “Good Morning America,” the Tar Heels coach answered several questions about his upcoming book, and a few about Hudson (who was not present):
“She’s been through the whole process and she’s been very helpful to me. She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina that come up in my life so I can concentrate on football, and that’s really what I want to do.
“She was very helpful on [writing my book], with the tribute pages and also giving a perspective on the book from kind of a business side. Sometimes I get a little football technical and so, you know, she did a good job of keeping me on balance there.”
When Strahan asked if he was happy, Belichick said that he was but that he was not going to discuss his personal relationship, with Hudson or anyone else.
