Baltimore Ravens gunslinger Lamar Jackson added another accolade to his stellar NFL career on Wednesday, earning AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance last Sunday. Per NFL insider Ari Melrov, Jackson and Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love have won OPOTW honors in their respective conferences for Week 17.

Jackson also won Offensive Player of the Week earlier in the season. He won the award in Week 7 after throwing for 357 yards and three touchdowns while adding 36 yards and a score on the ground in a 38-6 win over the Detroit Lions. Jackson has now won OPOTW ten times in his career. Meanwhile, Love earned the honor on Wednesday for the first time in his career.
Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson: Makes Massive Statement in Week 17
The Baltimore Ravens destroyed the Miami Dolphins 56-19 last Sunday. Quarterback Lamar Jackson continued to cement his MVP case, going 18 of 21 for 321 yards and five passing touchdowns. He also ran six times for 35 yards. Jackson entered the weekend as the slight favorite to win the MVP award but will now enter Week 18 as the heavy favorite.
Jackson could sit the season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers with the top seed locked up. If the franchise signal-caller sits, he will finish the season with 3,678 yards passing for 24 and seven touchdowns. He also added 821 yards and five scores on the ground.
Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love: Shocking Offensive Player of the Week Winner in NFC
First-year starter Jordan Love dominated the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football in Week 17. The Packers’ gunslinger went 24-of-33 for 256 yards and three scores. He also added a touchdown on the ground. The win keeps Green Bay in the NFC driver’s seat for the final Wild Card spot. They are one of three teams in the conference with an 8-8 record.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams also made a bid for NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors last weekend. Lamb went bonkers in his team’s controversial 20-19 win over the Detroit Lions last Saturday, snagging 13 receptions for 227 yards and a touchdown. Lamb surpassed 200 yards receiving for the first time in his career. Meanwhile, Williams rushed 20 times for 87 yards and three touchdowns in the Rams 26-25 thrilling win over the New York Giants.
