Three other quarterbacks received a first-team All-Pro vote, including Dallas Cowboys signal-caller Dak Prescott and San Francisco 49ers passer Brock Purdy, attaining two each. Buffalo Bills dual-threat quarterback Josh Allen also acquired a vote.
Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson: Nearly Unanimous for First-Team All-Pro
Lamar Jackson fell just five votes shy of earning unanimous first-team All-Pro. He finished the season with 4,499 yards, 29 total touchdowns, and 13 turnovers. He helped lead the Baltimore Ravens to the top seed in the AFC. However, his stats get trumped by those of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. The Mississippi State product accounted for 4,758 yards, 38 total touchdowns, and 11 turnovers. The Cowboys won one less game than Baltimore. Brock Purdy also posted a statistically superior season, tallying 4,424 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 13 turnovers.
Meanwhile, Josh Allen had arguably the best production by a quarterback this season. The six-foot-five, 237-pound gunslinger totaled 44 touchdowns and 4,830 yards. However, he threw a grotesque 18 interceptions while losing four fumbles.
Baltimore Ravens: Bye During Super Wild Card Weekend
The Ravens, alongside the San Francisco 49ers, will not play this weekend after earning the top seed in their respective conference. Baltimore posted a spectacular 13-4 record, the best in the NFL. They housed the best defense in the league regarding points per game allowed (16.5). They also finished the regular season with top ten ranks in the fewest yards allowed, third down conversion rate, and opposing passing yards. John Harbaugh’s squad will face the highest-ranked seed after the conclusion of Super Wild Card Weekend. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns are the only teams in this year’s postseason field to beat the Ravens.
