The Baltimore Ravens signed superstar RB Derrick Henry to a two-year deal worth up to $20 million, including $9 million fully guaranteed in the first year with the Baltimore Ravens.
Derrick Henry has been a great Running Back for basically his entire NFL Career, for the past eight seasons. Henry amassed over 1000 rushing yards in five of those seasons, with last season he had the most carries in the NFL, he was second in yards with 1167, and 12 Touchdowns for a Titans team who were not making the playoffs.
Derrick Henry has had over 10 touchdowns every season since the 2017 season and over 1,000 yards in five of the last six seasons. In 2021, he had only 219 carries, down from every season since 2018.
Henry has made four Pro Bowl appearances and one All-Pro team in his NFL career, he’s played in 119 NFL games, having over 2,000 rushing attempts, rushing for just over 9,500 yards, and 90 career touchdowns.
The Ravens will hope he breaks both 10k career Rushing yards and 100 career touchdowns in the 2024 season.

With Henry’s Longevity so far, and wear and tear on his body with all of the hits he’s taken, and the mileage he’s had, the way he’s stayed on the field so often for Tennessee is very remarkable and not seen as much with Running Back’s these days.
With that comes taking care of yourself, and Henry certainly has, Henry’s financial adviser Pete Kotos was speaking with The Athletic’s Dan Pompei about his star client’s ascension to be the best. While explaining the mental aspect, Kotos revealed some interesting things about Henry’s physical well-being.
Henry spends $240,000 yearly on body maintenance, which includes employing a personal chef who prepares all of Henry’s meals. Henry eats no fried foods, gluten, dairy or artificial sugars. He also takes recovery seriously, using cold therapy, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen, massage therapy and bodywork to come back stronger.
