It is seeming less and less likely that Mac Jones will start under center on Sunday versus the Steelers. If you’ve followed the news for the last week, you might be nervous. Mac missed Patriots practice on Monday and Tuesday with a back injury. He was back at practice on Wednesday, but was out once again on Thursday with an unknown “illness”. Whether that is COVID or not, when coupled with the back issue this becomes a question mark. Will Mac Jones be able to go on Sunday? Bill Belichick is as incognito as they come in the NFL so we…

In the aftermath of the Patriots 20-7 stinker in South Florida this weekend, everyone has a take. The line struggled, offensive play calling was a mess, Belichick made some questionable decisions, etc. Fortunately for you, I have a take and a solution as well. If you saw my piece (The Patriot Panic Button) you know that this isn’t on Mac, but his receivers. His receiving core would be better off as a barbershop quartet than NFL pass-catchers. Should the Bills add OBJ or not? In the world of “Big Threes” and super-teams, it has become more and more common to see big name players link up with hot teams. (Cough, cough, LeBron James.) They communicate, get together, and bolster their roster and make a postseason push. It is more commonly found in the NBA where players have more control over their own destinations, but this trend is carrying into NFL as well. The most recent example being the Rams of last season selling their future to “win now” and fortunately for them, it worked out. After the…

Finally! The 2022 NFL Season kicks off tonight at 8:20 ET as the Buffalo Bills go in to LA to take on the reigning Super Bowl Champion LA Rams and no-one is more nervous than the folding tables of Inglewood, California. Except perhaps the Bills rookie class making their NFL debut in one of the largest arenas in football. While the Bills successful 2021 campaign gave them a draft position significantly lower than in years past, they managed to find what some are calling “sleepers” of the draft if you will. Two of these rookies that I have my eyes on…
