With the Atlanta Hawks out of NBA title contention and the Atlanta Falcons in offseason mode, the Atlanta Braves are enjoying most of the love from the city’s pro sports fans — and even from Bijan Robinson and company.
In a social media post on Instagram on Friday, the Falcons shared photos of signed jerseys they sent to the Braves. Atlanta star outfielder Michael Harris, who was the 2023 American League Rookie of the Year, can be seen holding a signed Robinson jersey dedicated to him.
The next slide featured a Falcons jersey with Michael Penix Jr.’s autograph that also had a message for Braves first baseman Matt Olson to “KEEP BALLING.”

That was a nice gesture from the Falcons, especially with the Braves needing all the support they can to stay competitive in the National League East division. The Braves entered Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers just third in the division with a 14-16 record — six games behind leaders New York Mets and three games back of the Philadelphia Phillies.
As for the Falcons, they are preparing for their first season with Penix as their regular quarterback starter, even though they still have Kirk Cousins in the fold. In his first year in the pros in 2024, Penix was in the shadow of Cousins before emerging as a late-season QB1. In the Falcons’ final three games in the regular season, Penix threw for 737 passing yards and three touchdowns against three interceptions.
