Ashton Jeanty recently released a write-up to all the NFL teams and their general managers ahead of the upcoming draft. In the article which was published in The Players’ Tribune, Jeanty highlighted what he aims to achieve through his NFL career. In simple terms, Jeanty hopes to do just what Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley did, i.e. win the Super Bowl.
Ashton Jeanty last played as a running back for the Boise State Broncos from 2022 to 2024 as part of his college football career. For Boise State, the 21-year-old talent managed a total of 374 carries for 2,601 yards, scoring an impressive 29 touchdowns.
“I truly believe I was born to do this. And I truly believe what makes me different — it isn’t about the position I line up at. It’s about the mindset I bring to it. Those 11 dudes on defense … they’re on a football field playing football. Me — in my mind? I’m still in the backyard with my friends, playing “no one can touch me.” Ashton Jeanty wrote in his article published in The Players’ Tribune.
“If you pick me, it’s simple: I’m coming to your franchise to do what Saquon and the Eagles just did. I’m coming to win, big, soon.” Jeanty added in his write-up.
Ashton Jeanty compared himself to Saquon Barkley, who, as a running back, was instrumental for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFL season. In that year, Barkley managed 345 carries for 2,005 yards, scoring 13 touchdowns for the Eagles. The Philadelphia Eagles eventually went on to win the Super Bowl after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in an electrifying final game.

Ashton Jeanty Might End Up With Las Vegas Raiders As Per Several Mock Drafts
According to several mock drafts published ahead of the real thing, Ashton Jeanty is expected to end up with the Las Vegas Raiders as their newest running back. If it comes to the Raiders, one of the most important people who will be making the decision about Jeanty will be none other than Tom Brady.

Brady, a few months back, announced that he has bought a minor-ownership in the team, and will also be expected to provide his expertise and knowledge about hiring and training up the players. In the 2024 NFL season, the Las Vegas Raiders didn’t impress at all and finished last in the AFC West after winning four games in the season, while maintaining 13 defeats.
