While the Army Black Knights continue to dominate on the field, quarterback Bryson Daily has begun to receive the attention he needs.
The Black Knights, along with the other service academies, have long played option football that involves running the ball through their opponent. Army has done just that this season, averaging 360-yards per game on the ground while stealing away a 5-0 record. The senior quarterback Daily has been the catalyst that Army needed in order to reach the level of success they currently have in 2024.
Army has long been a tricky team that opponents either figured out right away, or struggled to keep up with for four quarters. Daily has taken the Black Knights to a different level this season, with his exceptional play moving the offense against strong defensive units.
Army is undefeated and averaging 360 rushing yards per game and playing at home against Trent Dilfer’s UAB team that gave up 71 points last week. Game of the week IMO

Update here: UAB got the kickoff, turned the ball over on downs in four plays, then gave up a 30-yard rushing touchdown on the first Army play from scrimmage https://t.co/252V494Yne

The quarterback currently has 380-yards passing along with five touchdowns and no interceptions, which is actually a solid total considering Army exclusively runs the ball. On the ground, Daily has recorded 110-yards or more rushing in four straight games. Daily has 602-yards rushing and ten rushing touchdowns for the Army Black Knights offense this season.
Army Black Knights Quarterback Bryson Daily Continues Exceptional Run
In just one quarter of play against the UAB Blazers, Daily recorded three rushing touchdowns and again proved why he is a dominant running quarterback.

Daily has been virtually unstoppable when running the ball and it is largely due to his speed and ability to read the field. The blocking has been exceptional for the Army Black Knights, but Daily finds the exact lane he must run to each time he rushes the football. It is difficult to teach the kind of instincts and ability that Daily possesses when rushing the football.
Currently over the past four games, Daily is on track to record 26 rushing touchdowns and over 1200-yards rushing for the Black Knights. Daily has been virtually unstoppable on the ground, and could continue to thrash a terrible defense in the UAB Blazers unit.
Army still has games against Air Force, Notre Dame, and Navy this season that could pose serious threats to the undefeated record. Notre Dame lost to NIU earlier in the season and has looked like virtually a new team each week. The service academies, however, always prove to be difficult battles with a different sense of pride on the line.
