The Arizona Wildcats are the latest team to deal with the fallout of Nick Saban’s retirement. Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer left to coach the Crimson Tide, and Arizona coach Jedd Fisch took his place. This has led to many Wildcats deciding to find new programs. Talented defensive back Ephesians Presock announced he will enter the portal.

Arizona Wildcats Lose DB Ephesians Prysock
Prysock was a starter in every game last year. He had 61 tackles and added an interception. During his time with the program, he had 80 tackles, seven passes defended, and one interception. What makes him an interesting prospect is his size. Cornerbacks are often a little undersized, but not Prysock. 6-foot-3, he can match up with many of the bigger receivers on the outside. He should be a player that many programs look at, considering how many talented wide receivers there are to shut down in college football.
New Head Coach
San Jose State head coach Brent Brennan officially took the job for the Wildcats on Sunday. The program moved swiftly to try and bring some stability. It seems to have worked. It was reported that many of the key players, Noah Fifita and wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, are expected to stay with the program. This would be a huge win for the Wildcats and hopefully help the program not regress too much in a transition year.
The Arizona Wildcats will try and continue to convince players to stay with the program. If they can, the Wildcats might not see a huge dropoff from last season.
