The New York Giants fan base wished a player a speedy recovery after reports came out they were carted off the field at practice Wednesday. The Giants are preparing for their Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
The Giants held their first practice of the Week on Wednesday. According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN, Giants cornerback Amani Oruwariye was injured Wednesday during a special teams drill.
Oruwariye’s injury was severe enough the Gaints had to cart him off the practice field. Players checked on the practice squad member as he was on the ground for several minutes after suffering the injury.

Per Dan Duggan with The Athletic, the Giants’ medical staff was “careful moving” Oruwariye off the field. Duggan described the situation as a “scary scene.”
Scary scene at Giants practice: Practice squad CB Amani Oruwariye was loaded onto a backboard and carted off the field. Medical staff was very careful moving him. Did see him moving his left hand as he was carted off.

As of this publishing, there have been no updates on Oruwariye’s injury.
