The New York Giants sign a cornerback
The New York Giants added a safety to the roster Tuesday. The team is making moves in the secondary as they’ll likely move on from Julian Love this offseason. The Giants took a chance on an undrafted free agent Monday when they signed Leonard Johnson to a three-year deal. The Giants made sure to bring in veteran help coming from an NFC East rival with their latest signing.
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Giants are signing defensive back Bobby McCain to a one-year deal. McCain was with the Commanders for the previous two seasons.
