The relationship between AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts is being examined under a microscope recently after the former dropped a comment about the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense. While many have dropped their hot takes on the topic, including former NFL legends, AJ Brown just broke his silence on the matter recently with reporters.
While Brown did go on to accuse the Philadelphia offense of not performing well, his comment was blown up mainly by defensive end, Brandon Graham, who speculated that there could be beef between the wide receiver and Hurts. AJ Brown did mention that too much of a big deal was made on the simple comment he passed.
“BG [Brandon Graham] is just being BG. He’s emotional in that case, he just misspoke. Me and Jalen are good. It’s BG, everybody loves BG, you know, he’s speaking from the heart. He’s giving his perception from the outside.” Brown said about Graham.
“I think that’s what the world did. They perceived what I said about passing and felt like it was an attack on Jalen. Me and Jalen’s relationship is personal.” Brown said to reporters in a press meet.
Not only AJ Brown, but Jalen Hurts too spoke out on the relationship that he shares with the wide receiver. Hurts put most of the blame on Brandon Graham, who he believes ‘spoke out of place’. Hurts went on to say that the relationship between him and Hurts is good, and that the two have spoken amicably.
Saquon Barkley Buddy’s-Up With AJ Brown, With The Two Complementing Each Other
On another positive note, AJ Brown, wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, has recently found a leadership buddy in Saquon Barkley. While Brown is often seen pushing things around for the Eagles as a great leader, Barkley has also stepped into his leadership shoes recently. Barkley is apparently quite vocal about his opinions and has been positively influencing team dynamics.
AJ Brown also spoke out on Barkley stepping up as a leader in the Eagles squad. The wide receiver remarked that his role required him to carry quite a bit of pressure. With Barkley taking on more responsibilities, AJ Brown’s yoke has become slightly easier to bear. The two apparently just ‘clicked’ after Barkley started speaking up more in the team. With Brown and Hurt’s relationship being scrutinized recently, Barkley’s support will be essential for AJ Brown.
