The Philadelphia Eagles revealed bad news on star wide receiver A.J. Brown on their first day of practice this week as they prepare to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round. Brown injured his knee against the New York Giants in Week 18.
The Eagles claimed after the game that Brown’s injury was not serious. However, head coach Nick Sirianni said wide receiver DeVonta Smith’s ankle injury wasn’t concerning before he missed the Eagles’ important game against the Giants last week.

Three of the Eagles’ offensive players are on the injury report this week. Smith appears to be in the best shape after Thursday’s first practice of the week. Quarterback Jalen Hurts had a glove on his injured throwing hand at practice. Thursday was the first time Hurts had thrown a football since the Giants game.
