Aaron Rodgers‘ potential spot with the Pittsburgh Steelers will not be affected by the team trading wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys. The Steelers traded Pickens to the Cowboys for next year’s third-round pick. Pickens has been with the team since 2022 after being selected as the 52nd pick in the second round of the draft.

Renowned journalist Gerry Dulac tweeted that though the Steelers had to move things around to trade away George Pickens, this would not affect Aaron Rodgers if he decides to join the team. The Steelers have been forever waiting for Rodgers to make a decision about whether or not he wants to play for them in the upcoming NFL season. Sources also mention that the team and Rodgers have been in constant contact.

“The impending trade of George Pickens to the Cowboys has no bearing or impact on the possibility of Aaron Rodgers finally agreeing to a deal with the Steelers.” Gerry Dulac tweeted through his X account about Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Aaron Rodgers has still not made a decision about his future in the NFL. While reports are that Rodgers will surely join the Pittsburgh Steelers for the upcoming NFL season, there are also rumors going around that the veteran quarterback may simply retire from the game altogether.

Rodgers last played for the New York Jets for a single season before the team let go of him this March. Before that, the quarterback created a legacy with the Green Bay Packers from 2005 to 2022 after being selected by the team as the 24th pick in the very first round of the NFL draft. In his NFL career, the 41-year-old quarterback has won the Super Bowl once and was named NFL MVP four times.

Aaron Rodgers’ Ring May Not Be A Wedding Ring

On another note, Aaron Rodgers’ ring mystery was recently thrown some light on by AJ Hawk, a close friend of the veteran quarterback. According to Hawk, the ring that Rodgers wore was definitely not a wedding ring and he and several other people can testify to this fact.

At the same time, Hawk also mentioned that he did not know what the ring exactly stood for. Aaron Rodgers was spotted wearing a ring on his ring finger which immediately led to rumors and speculations that the former Packers’ quarterback may be secretly married. In an interview with Pat McAfee, Rodgers did confess that he is in a serious relationship.
