While most of the talk surrounding New York Jets superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been focused on his return to the field from a torn Achilles, Rodgers has been very vocal in other aspects as well. He has talked a lot about his team and other teams around the NFL, but now he has ventured out even further.
Rodgers loves to make his weekly appearances on the Pat McAfee show. Every Tuesday, fans get to hear whatever is on his mind. It has become somewhat of a tradition for many football fans.
This week, he took some time to speak out about the major debate about the Florida State Seminoles not getting into the college football playoff. Instead, the Alabama Crimson Tide jumped them to get in.
Aaron Rodgers Reveals Thoughts On Florida State’s Snub
In a recent quote on the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers boldly claimed that he believes the Seminoles should have gotten in. However, he doesn’t think they should have gotten in over Alabama. He believes Florida State deserved the nod over the Texans Longhorns.
“Florida State was my team growing up and I think they should’ve got in over Texas.”
Aaron Rodgers says #FSU was his team growing up.

Many around the country have agreed with Rodgers. Florida State finished the season with an undefeated record and their final game was a big win in the ACC Championship Game over Louisville. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to convince the committee that they would be able to compete with the other three teams.
Jordan Travis went down with a brutal season-ending injury just a few short weeks ago. That was enough to put them out of the playoff.
Aaron Rodgers has always been very blunt with his thoughts on anything that he talks about. From the COVID vaccine to his thoughts on how NFL teams should operate, fans have always gotten his truth when he speaks.
Some love him, some hate him, but Aaron Rodgers remains the same. He always has, and always will.
Florida State should be livid about not getting into the playoff. Would they have compete against teams like Michigan, Washington, or Alabama? No one knows, but not getting the chance to see if they could after an undefeated season seems like a massive wrongdoing, to say the least.
