“Not A Better Option Out There”: Aaron Rodgers Needs A Sit Down With Aaron Glenn, Says Insider

Aaron Rodgers needs to discuss his future with the New York Jets directly with new head coach, Aaron Glenn before he makes a decision for himself, according to NFL insider, Adam Schefter. In a recent episode of ‘The Pat McAfee Show, Schefter remarked that while the Jets are trying to rebuild their structure, it is necessary for Rodgers to discuss his future with Glenn face-to-face.

While Aaron Rodgers has never confirmed that he would be retiring from the game after the 2024 NFL season, rumors have been spreading that the New York Jets quarterback might soon leave, especially since the team has been making many changes. With Aaron Glenn’s entry into the New York Jets team, the rumors that Rodgers might leave became even stronger.

“I think that Aaron Glenn and Aaron Rodgers have to sit down and number one, Aaron Rodgers, first and foremost, has to decide whether or not he wants to play, whether or not he wants to play in New York, whether or not he’s committed to going through all this again. And if and when that’s the case that Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey are going to have a decision to make about what they want to do with their franchise.” Adam Schefter said on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’.

“From a talent standpoint, there’s probably not a better option out there than Aaron Rodgers, when the guy still has it and he still can play. The question is, what do they want to do as they’re rebuilding their organization?” Schefter continued.

Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets did not have a great season in 2024, finishing third in the AFC East with five wins and 12 defeats. In their last game of the season, the Jets won against the Miami Dolphins with 32-20, despite being already kicked out of the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers Might Not Be A Good Fit For The Titans As Per Warren Moon

On the other hand, Warren Moon, former quarterback for the Tennessee Titans recently dropped a hot take on the team potentially considering Aaron Rodgers for their team. In his appearance on the ‘Up & Adams Show’, Moon advised the Titans to stay away from Rodgers, mainly citing his age as the main reason.

In addition to his age, Moon also remarked that the Tennessee Titans are currently in the process of restructuring their team, and Rodgers might not actually align with the team’s new goals. The Tennessee Titans finished the 2024 NFL season in fourth place of the AFC South table with three wins and 14 defeats.
