Aaron Rodgers has already committed to the Pittsburgh Steelers according to Mike Florio, the creator of ProFootballTalk. Florio recently theorized as to why the Steelers have not announced the news of Rodgers joining them. According to a renowned sportswriter, Rodgers is currently studying the playbook and does not want to participate in the training camps with the Steelers to avoid distractions.
It is widely known that Rodgers is yet to officially announce that he is a part of any team in the NFL for the upcoming season. The veteran quarterback is on the hunt for a new team after being let go by the New York Jets in March. Several teams other than the Pittsburgh Steelers have shown interest in Rodgers, but seem to have changed their minds after receiving no confident response from him. The Steelers are the only ones who have been constant in this case.
“Someone who knows him [Aaron Rodgers], but doesn’t know exactly what’s going on in this case, offered a theory over the weekend… 1. He’s already committed to the Steelers. 2. He already has everything he needs to study the playbook and get up to speed. 3. There’s a conscious decision made that he’s less of a distraction not part of the team at all, than he would be if he was signed, but not there for phase 1 and phase 2, because he’s always been against phase 1 and phase 2…” Mike Florio explained his theory about Aaron Rodgers potentially already being a Steeler.
The Pittsburgh Steelers could definitely use an experienced player like Aaron Rodgers in their roster for the upcoming NFL season. In the 2024 NFL season, the Steelers finished second in the AFC North after winning ten games and losing seven. Pittsburgh managed to make it to the Wild Card round against the Baltimore Ravens, but lost 28-14.

Aaron Rodgers Should Go To New Orleans Saints
Meanwhile, another group of experts in the NFL are hinting that Aaron Rodgers should play for the New Orleans Saints in the upcoming season. The Saints recently lost their starting quarterback, Derek Carr, who shocked the NFL world with his retirement news a day back.

Carr had been struggling with a shoulder injury for quite some time and it never fully healed despite thorough rehab. If Rodgers does indeed join the New Orleans Saints, he will be a great addition to the team who finished last in the NFC South in the previous NFL season.
