It’s officially spring transfer portal time, with the window opening on Monday night, and Alabama is about to land one of the best players in the new spring portal.
Alabama Is About To Bring Back A Familiar Face
Offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor started on the Crimson Tide offensive line as a true freshman. After former head coach Nick Saban retired, Proctor entered the transfer portal.
Proctor announced three months ago that he would be heading to Iowa, but a turn of events happened last month, and a report came out that he would be heading back into the portal and back to Alabama.
Proctor Officially Entered The Portal On Tuesday
On Tuesday, a report showed that Proctor is in the transfer portal. He has a do-not-contact tag, meaning you can’t contact him, meaning he is most likely heading back to Alabama.
Alabama-to-Iowa transfer offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor is in the transfer portal. He has a do not contact mark on his portal entry, which perpetuates the notion he’s headed back to Alabama.

Kalen DeBoer Got A Huge Win Here
This is a huge win for new head coach Kalen DeBoer, and it’s bizarre to begin with. Proctor didn’t want to stick around when DeBoer got the head coaching job three months ago, but something must have changed in a month or two because Proctor was so ready to leave Iowa and head back to Alabama.
There should be a rule that you can’t transfer from one school to another and then go back to that school you transferred from before even playing a single game. There should be some penalty, like having to sit out a season if you do that, and it’s just players taking advantage of the portal.
