Bru McCoy has revealed his plans for the 2024 season. The wide receiver will return to Tennessee for one final season with the Volunteers.
Let’s run it back! Thank you Vol Nation for all the love and support especially since my injury. This place and team is special and I truly believe the best is yet to come! Go Vols🍊💫 pic.twitter.com/1q8ftaXsib

McCoy was limited to just 5 games in 2023 after suffering an ankle injury. The receiver ended the season with 17 catches for 217 yards and 1 touchdown.
McCoy’s return gives the Vols a loaded WR room
The Vols’ receiver room is looking legit. The Vols added Chris Brazzell via the transfer portal, and now retain McCoy as well to go with Squirrel White, 5-star Mike Matthews, Kaleb Webb, Chas Nimrod, and Dont’e Thornton.
McCoy has 69 catches for 884 yards and 5 TDs through 17 games with the Vols. Without McCoy for much of the 2023 season, the Vols’ passing attack struggled. In 2023, the Vols had the No. 51 passing offense. In 2022, the Vols had the No. 5 unit. The return of McCoy coupled with 5-star QB Nico Iamaleava taking over have fans excited for what could be in 2024.
