The San Francisco 49ers have a bye on Sunday while they prepare for a road matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week. Sitting at 4-4 and second place in the NFC West, San Francisco needs every win they can get. Especially those conference and divisional wins.
During their bye week, however, one 49ers star got brutal news from the NFL.
“Wow” 49ers Star Receives Massive Punishment From The NFL
According to The Athletic’s Matt Barrow:
Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles was fined $10,750 for unnecessary roughness (use of helmet) in SF’s Week 8 win over Dallas.
Meanwhile, NFL is still looking into a possible fine for Nick Bosa after he wore a MAGA hat after Sunday’s game. A suspension for Bosa is not being considered.
