With the 2023 NFL season approaching this week, there will be a lot of hype going into the 32 teams. Every fan base believes their team can outperform expectations, but some are going to be disappointed. Let’s take advantage of that financially and look at some win total unders to take.

These totals are provided by DraftKings Sportsbook and can change depending on which sportsbook you prefer to use. There will also be an accompanying piece where I discuss the top three team-overs to bet on as well. Without further ado, let’s discuss some NFL teams.

2023 NFL Season Team #1: Arizona Cardinals Under 3.5 Wins

This one feels extremely speculatory, as it seems in the Cardinals’ best interest to tank this season. Not only do they have their own 2024 first-round pick, but also the Houston Texans. With a draft that is expected to have a quarterback prodigy in Caleb Williams, this would be the best time to suck for Arizona.

The word ‘tanking’ will be thrown around a lot for the #Cardinals, and I get it.

Here’s what I’ll say: It’s not easy to just tank an NFL season. The coaches aren’t walking up and saying, "Alright guys, let's suck today."

Many of the players are either on one-year contracts or…

Kyler Murray is still recovering from a torn ACL, and this is one of the most depleted rosters in the NFL. Joshua Dobbs is expected to be their starting quarterback after being signed after cuts happened following Week 3 of the preseason. This team winning one game would be one more than I would expect this year.

2023 NFL Season Team #2: Miami Dolphins Under 9.5 Wins

Call me naive or a hater, but I do not see the Miami Dolphins making the playoffs this season. It’s not because the roster is bad, but they are the third-best team in their own division. They have a tough schedule as they face the entire NFC East and AFC West as well and struggle defending the pass. This team went 9-8 last season and will be without cornerback Jalen Ramsey for a while after trading for him in the offseason.

This team also has to find out the answer to can Tua Tagovailoa stay healthy and if they are going to need to depend on Mike White for some games. Taking the under as 10 wins feels like a hefty ask from this roster as currently constructed.

2023 NFL Season Team #3: Philadelphia Eagles Under 11.5 Wins

This Philadelphia Eagles team is extremely talented, but losing your offensive and defensive coordinators is going to be tough to recover from, as both got head coaching jobs elsewhere. After making the Super Bowl, it is difficult to imagine the Super Bowl hangover not affecting them, as they were 0-2-1 in the preseason as well.

They have a tough division, as well as playing the AFC East and NFC South with tough teams littered through them. They will still make the playoffs in the 2023 NFL season, but 9-11 wins feels realistic, as losing five games is not difficult to imagine with their tough schedule.
