Here are my top 10 fantasy football tight end rankings for the 2024 season. Fantasy football drafts are right around the corner and here are the TEs that you should be looking for to target for your teams in 2024.
Top 10 Tight End Rankings
1. Mark Andrews – Baltimore Ravens
The top three on this list are very interchangeable and any one of them could be the TE1 in fantasy for the 2024 season. Andrews gets the edge here mainly because of his competition for targets. Andrews is coming off an ankle injury but should still be a top fantasy tight end with Lamar Jackson throwing him the ball.
2. Travis Kelce – Kansas City Chiefs
While Travis Kelce is number two on this list, he could easily be number one. Kelce is now 34 years old and had one of the worst seasons of his career in 2023. While he is still an incredible player, he seems to be slowing down going into the 11th year of his career.
3. George Kittle – San Fransico 49ers
George Kittle is the best-rounded tight end in the NFL, he is one of the best run blockers while still being a great receiving threat. The reason Kittle is number three on this list is because the San Fransico offense has many mouths to feed with McCaffery, Aiyuk, and Samuel.
4. Sam LaPorta – Detroit Lions
Sam LaPorta had the best rookie tight end season in NFL history in 2024. He compiled a total of 900 yards and 10 touchdowns. With having a strong connection with Jared Goff there seems to be nothing that is stopping LaPorta from doing the same in 2024.
5. Trey McBride – Arizona Cardinals
Trey McBride was one of the best tight ends in the NFL in the second half of the 2023 season. With a vacancy of weapons in Arizona, McBride should be Kyler Murray’s number one target in 2024, which lands him at number five on the list.
6. David Njoku – Cleavland Browns
With Joe Flacco at quarterback, David Njoku looked like Rob Gronkowski last season. Njoku had the best season of his career in 2024. Hopefully, Njoku can form the same connection he had with Flacco with Watson to become one of the best tight ends in the NFL.
7. Dalton Kincaid – Buffalo Bills
If it weren’t for Sam LaPorta there would have more talk about Dalton Kincaid last season. Kincaid broke out during the second half of the season for Buffalo. With the lack of weapons in Buffalo’s offense Kincaid should be primed for a big season in 2024.
8. Evan Engram – Jacksonville Jaguars
Also having the best season of his career in 2023, Evan Engram lands at number eight on this list. With the exit of Calvin Ridley, Engram should have another great season in 2024 with the Jaguars.
9. Kyle Pitts -Atlanta Falcons
There is a lot of pressure on Kyle Pitts this season. Pitts has never really lived up to the hype of being one of the best tight end prospects ever. With Kirk Cousins at quarterback, Pitts needs to have a good season in 2024.
10. TJ Hockenson – Minnesota Vikings
Hockenson is coming off an ACL tear and could miss a few weeks to start the season. Which is why he is at number 10 rather than top five on this list. Hockenson should still be a top fantasy tight end when he comes back from injury in 2024.
