Many people throughout the country love Ohio State. Still, one outlet destroyed the Buckeyes on Friday and even prompted one of their former players, making many fans pretty angry.
NCAA 25 Trailer Came Out On Friday
NCAA 25, the video game trailer, was released on Friday, and all college football fans couldn’t wait to see what the game would look like because this was the first one since 2014.
For many Buckeye fans, they got to see that the EA Sports franchise can’t stand them. They had an Ohio State player getting run over by Michigan running back Donovan Edwards, one of the game’s cover athletes. They showed Illinois beating the Buckeyes, which hasn’t happened since 2007, so it’s doubtful that the outcome will occur in real life. Still, the video game franchise took a shot at Ohio State for no reason and even showed love to one of their former quarterbacks.
Ohio State’s Former Quarterback Kyle McCord Was Getting Love
McCord was Ohio State’s starting quarterback last season, but he transferred to Syracuse this offseason for the 2024 season. He even got some love from EA Sports and was a big part of the trailer. Many Buckeye fans weren’t happy about this and took to social media to give their takes. Here are some of their reactions.
the fact that the NCAA trailer goes right from Ohio State getting stiff armed by Michigan to Kyle McCord in a Syracuse jersey is not a coincidence. What is EA Sports problem with Ohio State? pic.twitter.com/XNuPczHZxO

having Michigan stiff-arm Ohio State then immediately cutting to Kyle McCord at Syracuse is incredible work https://t.co/QFml71R8Hs pic.twitter.com/ozBWDgZSw1

EA’s anti-Ohio State agenda in this game is both blatant and hilarious 😂
• No OSU cover athlete ever.
• Donovan Edwards makes the defense look silly.
• Illinois hoists the rivalry trophy after scoring 52 points in a win.EA gave Kyle McCord a positive Syracuse highlight… pic.twitter.com/HCrbf9E39O
