New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was notably absent from the Jets’ mandatory Tuesday minicamp.
Rodgers’s absence was unexcused, resulting in a comment from teammate and Jets running back Breece Hall.

New York running back and teammate of Rodgers, Breece Hall, addressed the absence of Rodgers when talking to the media Tuesday.
Hall explained that he does not question Rodgers’ commitment even though the absence in question was unexcused, as described in an article from The Spun.
“He’s still trying to come back, still get back to feeling right from his injury and everything. I know he’s working his tail off,” Hall told reporters. “Whether he’s here or not, I know he’s all in.”

It is still unclear as to why Rodgers did not attempt the mandatory minicamp.

Rodgers’s absence from Tuesday’s mandatory minicamp is still unknown to the public, but head coach Robert Saleh claimed it was “an event that was very important to him” while addressing the media.
Jets QB Aaron Rodgers was not present for mandatory minicamp. Haason Reddick also absent.
Reddick wants a new deal, but who knows on Rodgers (mushroom convention)?

Many have jokingly, and not jokingly, speculated as to where Rodgers could be. Especially because he told Saleh that the event was important to him.

Some are calling out New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers for previous comments about other players’ commitment

One aspect of the absence of Rodgers from the Jets minicamp that has come to light stems from a Rodgers quote that questioned certain players’ commitment to winning.
In the same article from The Spun, Rodgers reportedly got on his teammates and the organization about what they needed to do to win games.
“Anything in this building that we’re doing individually or collectively that has nothing to do with real winning needs to be assessed. If you want to be a winning organization and put yourself in position to win championships and be competitive, everything that you do matters. And the [expletive] that has nothing to do with winning needs to get out of the building,” said Rodgers.
This quote is now being brought up by fans who are wondering what is more important to Rodgers than being the quarterback of the Jets.
“event that was very important to him”……… Obviously more important than playing quarterback for the Jets.

Rodgers’ whereabouts are still unknown and may never become known unless he decides to share them with the public.
