Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is the type of player who seems to get a lot of flack no matter what he does. You can’t really blame the fans, though, considering how the 24-year-old is cuirrently facing a couple of legal issues because of his behavior. At this point, controversial would probably be an apt way of describing the promising young wideout.
This is also exactly why Rice was in the middle of yet another squabble of late after his comment on WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark took on a life of its own on social media.
Kansas City Chiefs News: Rashee Rice Sparks IG War
It all started when Rice decided to comment on Clark’s most recent post on Instagram. The Indiana Fever star posted a couple of photos of herself on IG — one in a Fever uniform and a second as a young kid:

For his part, Rice decided to jump on the comments section with a two-emoji response: “🔥🤞🏾”
Little did the Chiefs WR know that this simple and seemingly innocent comment would spark a dispute among the fans.
A couple of supporters were quick to rip Rice apart after seeing his post:
“cover your charges and law trouble first then comment,” read one resposne.
“aren’t you in jail,” asked another.
To be fair to Rice, he has met Clark once in the past when the latter attended a Chiefs game in December last year:

Other fans were not at all pleased by how the haters were so quick to pounce on Rice despite his comment not having anything to do with his legal trouble:
“never talk about my POOKIE LIKE THAT😖,” read one response.
“dawg you havent even graduated. Dont speal you lil twerppppp,” read another.
“make a million dollars then comment,” responded another fan.
“lol broke people always envious,” jabbed another.
That’s a typical day on the mean streets of Instagram for you.
