Will Howard and his girlfriend, Skyler Skoglund, had a fun-filled weekend as they attended the Chris Stapleton concert in Pennsylvania. It was a double date as Howard and his girlfriend were accompanied by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson and his wife, Bre. The bunch certainly had a fun time as the ladies donned cowboy hats and grinned for the camera in posts shared by Bre on her Instagram account.

Howard, a newly drafted quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is in his very first season with the team. Howard was selected as the 185th pick in the sixth round of the NFL draft last month. Before being drafted, the quarterback split his college football career with the Kansas State Wildcats and the Ohio State Buckeyes. In his senior year with the team, Howard threw for a total of 4,010 yards, scoring a whopping 35 touchdowns, along with ten interceptions.
This NFL season will also be the first one in Pittsburgh Skylar Thompson, who signed with the Steelers early this year. Before this, Thompson played for the Miami Dolphins after being selected as the 247th pick in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft. In the previous NFL season, Thompson threw for a total of 185 yards, failing to chalk up even one single score for the team.
Will Howard will be eager to make a positive impression with the Pittsburgh Steelers in his rookie season. However, several analysts have condemned the Steelers for deciding to start with Howard, even before getting a solid decision from veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Will Howard As Starter May Cause Pittsburgh Steelers To Tank
Will Howard seems to have shown plenty of promise for the Pittsburgh Steelers as the team has decided to go with the young talent as their starting quarterback. The Steelers are still holding out on to the hope that quarterback Aaron Rodgers will sign with them before the season officially kicks off. However, a part of them seems to have given up as they decide to go with Howard as starting quarterback.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be meeting the New York Jets for their opening game in the first week of the forthcoming NFL season. Before meeting the Jets, the Steelers will warm up with three preseason games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Carolina Panthers. After facing the Jets, the Steelers will head on to meet the Seattle Seahawks in the second week of the NFL tournament.
