There is no doubt that there was so much reaction from Swift and Kelce finally getting engaged to one another. This is what NFL fans said on Twitter:

    Who cares

No Ian…the biggest news of the day is the Oasis popup store in Chicago opened

    — Derek Kudjer (@koojababy) August 26, 2025

    Retirement soon 👀

    — JacksonMuse (@Jackson_muse) August 26, 2025

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that chiefs waived Carson Steele

    — shark week soon (@K1Future) August 26, 2025

Only 1 more season till he retires, can’t come soon enough!

Kelce only has one year remaining on his contract with the Chiefs. Many people are wondering since he is engaged now, if it will be his final season in the NFL. Many thought that he was going to retire after the Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last season.

With that being said, the wedding planning for Kelce and Swift could begin. With him being 35 years old, he has nothing much left to prove in this league and congrats to the both of them.
