The 8-5 Washington Commanders traveled to Louisiana to play against the 5-8 New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome for Week 15 of the regular season. Currently sitting in 7th place in the NFC Playoff Picture, every game is basically a must-win for the Commanders moving forward. The 8-6 Los Angeles Rams sit in 8th place and could catch up to them for the final spot.
The Washington Commanders Pro Bowl IOL is dealing with an illness
Commanders’ Pro Bowl center Tyler Biadasz came down with an illness earlier this morning after being healthy during the week. The Commanders downgraded him to questionable for today’s game, and he needed to make a significant improvement in order to play against the Saints. Not having him in the starting lineup would be a massive loss for the offense.
They received an unfortunate update for Week 15
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Commanders officially released the mandated inactive players list 90 minutes before kickoff and listed seven players. Of the seven players they ruled out, including Tyler Biadasz, the first game missed as a member of the Commanders, as mentioned, a devastating loss to the offense and offensive line.
#Commanders C Tyler Biadasz, who came down ill this morning, is officially inactive. A significant loss vs. the #Saints. Michael Deiter gets the start.

Who starts in his stead?
Michael Deiter will start at center in Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints. Deiter has plenty of experience at center, most recently with the Houston Texans during the 2023 season. He started their final ten regular-season games and the two playoff games.
